Individual & Online

We recognise that some may not feel comfortable gathering at present. Therefore St Peter's is also offering the following online options:

10:00am: Morning Prayer by Zoom
St Peter's Online: Music, prayers, readings and a Sermon mirroring the Ministry of the Word part of our Sunday Eucharist for individual use or worship with those in your bubble.
Daily Office: Daily readings as set out in the Lectionary for use with Daily Services in ANZPB
Taizé: An interactive slide presentation with the music embedded which can be used for individual use or worship with those in your your bubble.

The Fine Print

Under Level 2, Services at St Peter's will operate under the following conditions:

  • Attendance is limited to 100 people.
  • Please ensure you wash your hands thoroughly with soap before leaving home. You will be asked to use hand sanitiser on arrival.
  • You must use the Covid19 contact tracing app on your mobile phone or record your contact details on the forms available at each entrance.
  • Please respect physical distancing as you arrive and gather, and within the premises. Keep separation between each individual or bubble. We will only use every second row of seats. If you are asked to move along, or to shift rows, please be understanding as we seek to accommodate everyone within the guidelines. The 8:00am congregation will meet in the nave rather than in the chancel.
  • You are encouraged to wear face masks throughout the service, apart from when you receive communion. (There is a small quantity of masks available at the welcomers’ table if you haven’t your own to bring.) Those leading/reading etc will remove their masks while speaking to aid audibility.
  • We will be singing at the 10:00am service as usual, but will remain masked while doing so.
  • Printed service booklets will be provided in place of the prayer books. Please take the booklets home with you: they cannot be used for subsequent services.
  • The offertory plates will be located at the crossing – they will not be passed from hand to hand. Please place your offering in the plate as you enter.
  • The Peace will be done in a way that does not involve physical contact.
  • Communion will be offered in one kind only, and will be done queuing one by one rather than assembling at the altar rail.
  • Morning tea will be provided after the 10:00am service. We ask that you are careful to maintain distance between one another while having your morning tea and conversing.
  • If you are unwell, or if you are vulnerable to infection, or if the above conditions give you concern, please use our online options.

Remember that we have a duty of care for one another. So please exercise grace and patience to those leading and to one another as we navigate this together.
