A reminder that Daylight Saving starts on Sunday morning, so put your clocks forward 1 hour before you go to bed on Saturday night to ensure you’re not late for church!
This Sunday 27th we are back into Alert Level 1 again, and so will be able to return to having communion available in both kinds, the passing of the peace, and no physical distancing requirements.
We will no longer be keeping a record of who attends, but you are encouraged to use the Covid Tracer app or to maintain a diary of your movements. QR Code posters are displayed at our entrances to assist you with contact tracing. Hand sanitiser will continue to be available in the porch.
We recognise that some might be anxious, some necessarily cautious because of underlying heath conditions. We encourage you to prayerfully and reflectively make your own decisions. If you don’t wish to shake hands at the peace, we respect that. If you don’t feel you can take communion, or only wish to receive it in one kind (the bread only), we respect that. The option of spiritual communion – receiving the benefits of communion through prayer rather than through consumption of the elements – remains a valid option.
We will continue to provide our online Sunday worship resources on the website, including the sermon – see St Peter's Online.
Grace and peace,
