Our group for Mums with pre-school children meets every Friday morning.
These mornings are happy and boisterous with plenty of toys to the children to play with and activities to do. On fine days the children love the fully fenced field to play in and especially enjoy the labyrinth. Kite flying is very popular and chalk drawing on the concrete.
Currently eleven Mums come very regularly and great friendships and support networks have developed. New Mums are warmly invited to come along.
Some Mums bring along a craft project they are working on and some bring thier children and simply enjoy the fellowship over coffee with other Mums. The group has also worked on collective craft projects. They do card making for the church fair and also for Mothers day for the Neo-natal unit at the hospital. Fifteen book bags were made for Terrace End School and a similar number of beanies. We also made a special morning tea for the staff there.
We meet every Friday of term time from 9.30 and it usually finishes by 12.30.
There is loads of parking, good clean facilities, and wheel chair access.
